General Business Minor

The purpose of the General Business minor is to expand access to Commerce education by providing fundamental business knowledge and skills that will complement any major area of study and, thereby, expand students’ career prospects and better prepare them for making a positive impact at work and in society.

Eligibility 

Students may declare the General Business minor after they have (1) declared their major, (2) completed COMM 1800, and (3) completed two of the core courses. Additionally, students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in COMM 1800 and the core courses taken to-date to declare.

Students in the General Business minor are required to complete 15 credits (9 required and 6 elective) as outlined below:
